Custom Rubber Washers Cut to Your Size

Enter the outside diameter, the hole size and the thickness you need, pick a material, and see the price immediately. We cut each washer to those exact numbers — there is no nearest-stock-size compromise and no minimum order. Most orders ship in one business day.

Why people have washers cut

  • The size does not exist off the shelf. Odd bolt sizes, metric-to-imperial adapters, and older equipment routinely need an OD or ID that no catalog stocks.
  • The material matters more than the size. A fuel pump needs Buna-N, an outdoor fitting needs EPDM, a steam line needs silicone. Hardware-store washers are usually generic rubber with no stated compound.
  • You need a specific thickness. Crush and standoff both depend on it, and stock washers give you whatever the supplier had.

Materials

  • Neoprene — general purpose; weather, ozone and oil resistant.
  • EPDM — outdoor, hot water and steam. Best UV resistance we stock.
  • Buna-N (nitrile) — fuel, oil and hydraulic contact.
  • Silicone — -80°F to 450°F.
  • Viton — aggressive chemicals and high heat.
  • Cork and compressed fiber — where you need compression into an uneven face, or hard clamping.

Sizing

  • Outside diameter — the full width of the washer.
  • Inside diameter — the bolt or shaft hole. Measure the fastener, not the old washer, if the old one has deformed.
  • Thickness — from thin shim washers up to heavy load-spreading pads.
  • Inches or millimeters — switch units in the builder; both are cut to the same tolerance.

Sealing washers, spacers and load-spreaders

The same part does three jobs depending on material and thickness: a thin soft washer seals, a thicker rigid one spaces, and a wide one spreads load across sheet metal or soft material. If you are not sure which compound suits your application, order one of each material at single quantity — there is no minimum, so a test set costs very little.

Pricing and shipping

Price is calculated from your dimensions, material and quantity as you type. Quantity discounts apply automatically — a run of fifty costs far less per washer than one. Most orders ship in one business day. Large orders may take longer.

Which material should I pick?

Full comparison on our Materials Guide.

  • Hot parts with oil or fuel (engines, exhaust) → Viton (FKM)
  • Hot parts, no oil (ovens, HVAC) → Silicone
  • Oil or fuel (pumps, hydraulics, petroleum) → Buna-N (Nitrile) — or Viton for higher heat
  • Water / outdoor / sun → EPDM
  • General automotive or light oil → Neoprene
  • Chemicals / aggressive fluids → PTFE (Teflon) — or Viton for high heat plus chemicals
  • Soft seal / uneven surfaces / low pressure → Cork blends

We CNC cut (laser, waterjet, and more) to ±0.015″. Up to 32.5″ × 32.5″ for most materials; the quote tool shows the exact limit for the one you pick. Ships in one business day. Large orders may take longer.

How to measure

  1. Measure the outside size — diameter for rounds, or length × width for rectangles and squares.
  2. Measure the inside opening and any holes (ID, bolt holes, bolt circle if it is a flange).
  3. Note the thickness you need — pick it in the quoter.
  4. Enter sizes in inches.
